They talk about whether the national media is underestimating Democrats chances this fall, Republicans refusal to appeal to suburban voters and more. Hour 2: Our Democrat of the Day is Lucy Rehm, candidate for state house district 48B, which includes Chanhassen and other surrounding communities in the southwest metro. The Star Tribune releases a poll showing that a “narrow” majority of Minnesotans (52-40 %) oppose the overturning of Roe vs. Wade. Politico reports a Minnesota District Court denied Mike Lindell’s motion to throw out a lawsuit brought by a voting technology company that claims he defamed it by pushing the false narrative that the 2020 election was stolen. Secretary of State Republican candidate Kim Crockett was quoted in a 2018 podcast interview saying, “I’m not willing to get up in the morning and go work for people who aren’t from here.” And yet another story of a fatal ATV accident in Minnesota.
