The Matt McNeil Show – October 26, 2022
Hour 1: Stories from the road in South Carolina, including the Waffle House, a Halloween Tour, revisionist southern history and more. Then it’s our national political expert Jeff Stein. Matt and Jeff talk about early voting trends, how Republicans are campaigning (or not) on abortion, the Fetterman vs. Oz debate, a second woman accusing Herschel Walker of pressuring her to get an abortion, Kanye West and more.
Hour 2: Matt is joined by Manilan Houle of the Fon Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. They talk about a planned merger between Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd and Kansas City Southern and the very negative potential environmental impacts. Then thoughts on the merger and how we as taxpayers will likely foot the bill for any spill and how the company would not be American owned. Matt tell us a story about how a right wing friend made a cruel, anti-trans social media post. And how that person will be voting Nov. 8th, so you better vote too! And Scott Jensen “earns” the coveted endorsement of Donald Trump. Jensen, however, didn’t exactly seem thrilled with the endorsement.
