Hour 1 segment 2: Public safety continues to be a major issue as the legislature tries to negotiate a final budget before a possible government shutdown.

Hour 1 segment 3: We’re joined by state Senator Melissa Franzen (district 49).

Hour 1 segment 4: DFL house majority leader Ryan Winkler (46A) calls in for updates from the house side at the legislature.

Hour 2 segment 1: We do some tarot card style readings of the current Republican Party (both in Minnesota and nationally).

Hour 2 segment 2: The very little amount of money the Market Bucks program costs Minnesotans, which allows people on food stamps to use their benefits to shop at a local farmers market.

Hour 2 segments 3/4: GOP Rep. from North Carolina Madison Cawthorn, self-described ‘big history buff,’ keeps getting historical facts wrong. Plus some other national stories including if US Catholic Bishops will change their mind on denying communion to politicians who support abortion rights and comparing history of both Trump and Nixon using the secret service and its resources for their own political benefits.
