James Roosevelt, Jr. on the NCPSSM Endorsing Joe Biden to Protect Social Security and Medicare

Brett Johnson spoke with James Roosevelt, Jr, the grandson of former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and member of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare (NCPSSM). They talked about the the NCPSSM for the first time in their 38 year history endorsed a presidential candidate (Joe Biden). They also drew parallels to what a potential President Biden might face with a conservative supreme court and how it’s similar to what FDR faced when the Supreme Court of the 1930’s struck down many of his new deal proposals.
