Celebrate 30 Years of Art-A-Whirl in Northeast Minneapolis
Art-A-Whirl is turning 30—and you’re invited to the party.
This beloved, free event is the largest open studio tour in the country, drawing thousands of art lovers, families, and fun-seekers to Northeast Minneapolis.
From Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18, explore work from 1,400 artists across more than 100 locations. You’ll meet painters, potters, woodworkers, glassblowers, weavers, photographers, sculptors—and just about every kind of artist you can imagine. Whether you’re browsing or buying, you’ll find art in every style and price range.
But Art-A-Whirl is more than just a studio tour—it’s a full Northeast experience. Enjoy live music, art demos, and local food and drink at Northeast’s many bars, restaurants, and breweries.
