Ellie 2.0 Radio – June 24, 2019
It’s a hodgepodge show. I first speak about being on a panel of lawyers to discuss diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and how it’s important for straight, white-color cisgender men to step up and be allies to persons from marginalized communities. The Big Interview is with Michelle Seets of Minnetonka High School re: its “Varsity Letter in Community Service” program (and with Michelle were two students Astrid Liden and Suzie Foster, who both devoted hundreds of hours to community service). For my C-Block, I talk about a recent award I was given and how my desire for humility left out my brother, who very much wanted to attend the award ceremony (my thinking was not to put him out by asking him to attend—big mistake!). I’m human and I screw up.
