We begin with our featured idealist, NFL football coach Brian Flores who this week filed a class action lawsuit against the NFL and three teams alleging that he was racially discriminated against. Brian explained that he understood his entire future coaching career is at risk, but said he was doing it for future generations to come—a very idealistic notion! From there, I talk about how Jewish Americans are increasingly under attack and ask how many Christian churches undergo active shooter drills and require armed security in order to pray together? I also highlight a Florida legislator who eloquently rails against Florida’s attempt to ban teaching anything that would make white people feel uncomfortable. Finally, I talk about how the National Butterfly Center in Texas has had to shut down due to harassment over its refusal to allow a border wall to be built through its property.
