For our first show in a new time slot (2-3 p.m. Mondays), I give first-time listeners an introduction to me and the show’s mission. I then pivot to talking about the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization and its selection of Dr. Anthony Fauci and Colin Kaepernick as recipients of the 2020 Ripple of Hope Award. The Big Interview is with Russel Balenger of The Circle of Peace Movement and his group’s incredible work to tackle gang violence and fear in St. Paul. In my C-Block, I share about the need for white-color people to get trained on white supremacy and ways to deconstruct institutional racism.
