Hour 1 segment 1: Matt has some side effects from his second vaccine shot (but still definitely worth the protection). Kim Potter, the police officer who killed Daunte Wright, will face 2nd degree man slaughter charges. The character assassination of Daunte Wright begins, including from Brian Peters, the Executive Director of the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association (MPPOA). A point about how police officers do not have the right to be judge, jury and executioner.

Hour 1 segment 2: A caller asks whether Kim Potter could receive a plea deal. Is tax payer money being used to pay for security around Potters house in Champlin?

Hour 1 segments 3/4: Matt is joined by Jeff Stein as we talk about Republicans saying BLM tried to storm the Iowa capitol (BLM did not), the Matt Gaetz situation is getting more serious and Republicans are still shying away from commenting, and DC statehood advancing through Congress.

Hour 2 segment 1: A quick update on the suddenly anemic Twins. Then in the Derek Chauvin trial Matt explains how the defense’s expert witness got completely dismantled during cross examination.

Hour 2 segment 2: More on the defense witnesses so far in the Chauvin trial. A caller talks about the extra aerial surveillance that seems to be happening in Minneapolis despite relatively light protestor activity. And reports of media members being attacked by officers during last night’s protests.

Hour 2 segments 3/4: Matt receives an offer for a free knife…from the NRA?! The MN COVD-19 update. Meanwhile in Wisconsin their conservative Supreme Court overrules several safety measures implemented by Democratic Governor Tony Evers.
